Reed family (North Hatley) fonds
The fonds contains information on the social life, political, personal and professional life of the Reed and Scowen families in the North Hatley area from 1875 to 1997. It consists of:
- 94 photographs (includes 1 tintype and 2 charcoal sketches) with views of North Hatley, Lake Massawippi, the Reed, Little, Thwaites, McKay, Bean, Scowen families;
- elementary school certificate for Eulah Reed (1920); a eulogy for Eulah Reed Scowen (1993); an account book, 1969-1979; a letter from J.K. Miller to Herbert Scowen (1968);
- letter by J.B. Reed (1913); a butter wrapper for J.B. Reed & Son; account and receipt books, J.B. Reed (1913-1949);
- commemorative envelope for the Royal Visit (1939);
- newspaper clippings on the social, political, economic, agricultural, and religious life of the region (ca. 1900-1940s);
- a personal recollection titles 'Notes by Aunt Millie'
- a telephone book for North Hatley, 1913
