            The fonds contain source material mainly on the activities of Allen Martin from 1960s to 1990s when he was a member of the liberal party and a board or committee member in different organizations in the counties of Megantic and Compton. The fonds consists of a variety of documents such as correspondence, reports, notices of meetings, agendas, minutes, newsletters, programmes, letters of invitations, maps, photographs, instructions for organizing elections, lists of party members and donations and so on when he was involved in different activities including the elections, referendum, Canada Day celebrations, a dispute in dismissing a school bus driver and other community events.
