The file consists of printed electoral lists from 1896 to 1980 and two maps, one of Sherbrooke and the other of Megantic-Compton, Orford and Saint-François. The file provides information on electors in the electoral districts of Sherbrooke, Megantic-Compton Stanstead, and the Township of Cleveland (subdivision A). The lists are divided into urban polling-subdivisions and contain data such as electors' names, surnames, occupations and addresses.

The file contains a souvenir envelope from East Angus commemorating the royal visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Canada, dated 12 June 1939, as well as a programme for the royal visit in Sherbrooke and tickets for seats in the viewing stands along the parade route. The programme includes an order of procession, a list of Sherbrooke figures to be presented to the King and Queen, as well as a map of the parade route.
The programme was donated by KarenThorneloe, grand-daughter of Gladys (Bell) Jameson, in 2015.
The programme originally belonged to Gladys (nee Bell) Jameson, who organized the St. John's Ambulance stations for the occasion of the royal visit.

The subseries consists of a pamphlet produced by the Liberal Central Committee on how to operate polling booths in 1896 and a ribbon from the Liberal convention, held in Sherbrooke on 25 August 1911.
