The Lively Stone Chapter, No. 16, was a chapter situated in Stanstead, Quebec. It was a small chapter that, as membership rates continued to decline and financial resources became slimmer, was forced to amalgamate with the Golden Rule Chapter, No. 1, in 1982.
The documents were maintained by the Lodge until they were donated in 2011.
Scope and content
The fonds contains primary source material on the Lively Stone Chapter, No. 16. It consists of notices of meetings, correspondence, cash books, dues books and a membership register. The fonds is comprised of the following series: Administration (1981-1982), Finances (1913-1982), and Membership (1913-1978).
