              The series contains primary source information on the history of the Eastern Townships -- especially Bulwer, Birchton, and Lennoxville -- from about 1930 to 2017. It consists of documents and photographs pertaining to the 125th anniversary of Eaton Township in 1980 and documents pertaining to the Eaton Corner 1867 celebration in 2017. It also consists of photographs depicting the Bulwer Model School; a mock wedding around 1967; Bury Canada Day celebrations around 1994; and the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion Committee in 1995 or 1996, among others. The series also consists of VHS tape recordings of the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion in 1996; the St. Patrick's Day Variety Show in Bulwer in 2001; and Lennoxville Friendship Day in 2003. Finally, it consists of wooden nickels from Hatley Canada Day celebrations and pins from various villages, community organizations, and events.

              The file primarily consists of 36 programmes for awards nights and graduations at Alexander Galt Regional High School, Lennoxville. The file provides information about the school's cultural events, performances, and student activities, such as plays, awards nights, graduation ceremonies, and reunions from 1973 to 1998. It is also a source of information on the Waterville School and includes a reunion souvenir booklet, newspaper clipping and program from 1989; a photograph of the Waterville classes of Grades 4, 5 and 6 from around 1940; a proficiency certificate awarded Evelyn Smith in 1916; two concert prorgrammes from the Mitchell school from 1948 and 1965; and a programme from a performance of "Our Hearts were Young and Gay" by the Lennoxville High School Dramatic Society in 1947.

The interview focuses on Arthur Speid's experiences as a student at Bishop's College School and Bishop's University in the 1890s. Among the subjects covered are the campus buildings, food strikes, the golf course (links), athletics, drama, school subjects, women at Bishop's, and various professors, principals, and headmasters including Henry de Beltgens Gibbins, Thomas B. Waitt, James P. Whitney, Francis J.B. Allnatt, Richard A. Parrock, Gilbert B. Jones, Arthur H. McGreer, and Robert N. Hudspeth. It also includes more general discussion of Lennoxville.
