Biographical history

The Lafrance family lived in Danville at the start of the 20th century. They may have been the family of Émilien Lafrance, Quebec Minister of Family and Social Welfare from 1960-1965.

The fonds contains source material on the activities and members of the Lafrance family from 1917 to 1926. It consists of two albums of photographs and negatives, probably of family members and friends, taken outdoors in summer and winter. Some photos depict landscapes and buildings.
