The file contains primary source material on the correspondence of Matrix editor Philip Lanthier (writing from Lennoxville, QC) and writer Jennifer Mitton (writing from Vancouver, BC) from about 1987 to 1991. It consists of six letters from Mitton to Lanthier, one novel synopsis, project description, and budget for an Explorations Grant, copies of Jennifer Mitton's stories "Coppertone," "With A Mother in Such Pain" and "Bring Rain, Bring Water," copies of her work in the New Quarterly, the Malahat, the Fiddlehead and the Moosehead Anthology, her resume, and two newspaper clippings with reviews of Mitton's work.
