Collection illustrates some of the organizations in Coaticook from around the 1950s. It consists of photographs showing an unidentified group at the Meadon baseball stadium, an initiation for the Knights of Columbus (Chevaliers de Colomb), and of the Amicale à Sacré-Coeur de Coaticook.

The collection contains primary and secondary source information on the creative life of Helen M. (née Webster) Emery, the community of Hatley (village), and organizations in the area from 1888 to 1959. It consists of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, largely pertaining to the Hatley village area, as well as original poetry by Helen M. Emery. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen M. Emery and continued by her daughter, Sadie (née Emery) Webster, following her death in 1923.

The collection contains primary source materials relating to Alberta Everett (née Ross), her family, and the cultural heritage of the Eastern Townships from about the 1920s to 2017. It consists primarily of photographs, audiovisual recordings, and artefacts documenting events and celebrations around Eaton Township (Bulwer, Birchton, Bury), Lennoxville, and Hatley. It also consists of some textual records attesting to the personal lives of Alberta and her family. Holdings relate to such varied topics as the daily La Tribune, Sherbrooke's centenary, land granting in the 18th and 19th centuries, the teaching of the arts and the Eucharistic Conference of 1959. The collection consists mainly of press clippings, photographs, postcards, registers, and contracts. Most of the documents on land grants in the Eastern Townships are copies of documents held by the National Archives of Canada. The content of the press clipping files are also copies of articles from local newspapers. The collection is comprised of the following series: Press Clipping Files (1937-[198-?]), Images, Photographs and Postcards (1885-[1959?]), Registers of the Council of Arts and Manufacturers of the Province of Quebec (1903-1953), Land Grants in the Eastern Townships (1863-1985), and Miscellaneous Documents ([1883?]-1984). The series 'Land Grants in the Eastern Townships' contains an original of Putnam and Gray's 1863 Map of the District of St. Francis Canada East, cut up in pieces.
