Distinguished Educator Award at OISEUT (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto), February 18, 1999, awards ceremony photographs. Dr. Jeffrey D. Jefferis was a recipient of the DEA for 1998. The Minister of Education was present at the ceremony including a group from Bishop's, Tom and Barbara Matthews, and Carol Mooney. Photographs included: photograph taken by the Institute of the other Award winners and their nominators, the platform party, the group from Bishop's, and a photograph of Graham Jackson and Michael Jackson at the podium presenting Dr. Jefferis. On Saturday April 10th, Graham Jackson, Michael Jackson and a few friends of Dr. Jefferis met at the Central Park Lodge in St. Lambert to present him with the Award which had been brought back from the ceremony. Also present were Bill Young, John and Joan Netten, Jo Visser, Jack and Aline Visser, and Genevieve Racette. Photographs of this occasion are also included.

Kinsman, Kay, 1909-1998The fonds contains source material on the activities of Charles Stewart from 1815 to 1829, a time span that covers his work in England and Charleston (Hatley, Quebec), and for the SPG and part of his tenure as Bishop of the Diocese of Quebec. It consists of transcripts made by the Reverend James Reid, pastor of Trinity Church in Frelighsburg, in 1850 of ninety-one letters (ninety of which were written between 1815 and 1829) from Stewart to Reid. The transcripts bear comments made by the transcriber.
Stewart, Charles, 1775-1837The fonds contains a small quantity of source material on the daily work of William G. Taylor in 1866, 1871, 1874, and 1879. It also provides data on the weather and on Taylor's accounts. It consists of four hand-written diaries containing entries for almost every day of the year.

Miller, James, 1834-1914The fonds contains source material on Edward Hale's professional and family activities in May 1846. It consists of a single letter from Hale to his wife, dated from Montreal on 16 May 1846. In the letter, Hale mentions his children and writes of his daily activities and his meetings with friends and colleagues. He also mentions that he will soon bring home some paintings.

The fonds consists of two court settlements, a public notice, a summons notice, two oaths and seven letters related to the affairs of the aforementioned Council and Townships.
