It consists of a certificate appointing Cushing as the Lodge Deputy for the Faithful Lodge of the Independent Order of Good Templars, correspondence addressed to Charles J. Cushing from a newlywed J.F. Robinson in Floyd, Iowa; and from H. Hubbard, D.C. Delana, Maud Lamb, Isabella Grant, Thomas A. Armstrong, and I. Fitzgerald regarding the hiring of a teacher at Barnston Academy (the candidates were Helen A. Rankin, Mary E. Armitage, I. Fitzgerald, Maud Lamb, Mrs. A. Armstrong, Isabella Grant, . It also consists of statement by Charles J. Cushing regarding a dispute with Leslie Washburn regarding municipal roads from 1906, a property tax statement, and receipts (largely Coaticook businesses).
