University Archives Collection
The University Archives consists of all documents which give evidence and information about the University’s history, organization, function, and structure. The mission of the University Archives is to select, describe, preserve and make available for research those records which have enduring value to the University for administrative, legal, fiscal, and historical purposes. Archival holdings include records and publications of the administration, students, faculty, staff and alumni. Within these collections are a variety of media such as photographs, drawings, maps and plans, microfilms, and computer, video and audio tapes. Trophies, medals, badges, and other memorabilia are also collected by the archives.

Collection presents information on the community of Coaticook from 1932 to 1987. It consists of scrapbooks largely composed of newspaper clippings (obituaries and other articles), but including a photograph Lilian Cloutier, invitiations, and cards.
Collection contains information on the Hugron family and Stephen Burroughs of Coaticook and Stanstead from the early 1900s to 2009. It is also a source of information on the layout of the town of Coaticook in 1960 and on views of Coaticook in 2009. It consists primarily of historical write-ups and articles, photographs of Coaticook, and an insurance plan. Collections presents coroner's inquests for cases from the Coaticook area from 1867 to 1984. It consists of coroner's inquests reports.
Collection contains information on the Dixville, Crooker, and Marsh Cemetery Association from 1946 to 1981 and on the Coaticook Area Senior Citizens Sunshine 50+ Club from 1975 to 2000. It consists primarily of a receipts and disbursements ledger, minutes, correspondance, press clippings, and correspondence. The collection contains primary and secondary source information on the creative life of Helen M. (née Webster) Emery, the community of Hatley (village), and organizations in the area from 1888 to 1959. It consists of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, largely pertaining to the Hatley village area, as well as original poetry by Helen M. Emery. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen M. Emery and continued by her daughter, Sadie (née Emery) Webster, following her death in 1923.

The collection contains source material on various topics related to the Eastern Townships in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries such as towns, military, settlement, agriculture, life, artist and oral histories. It consists of audio tape cassettes, videos, artefacts, textual records, photographs, and an engineering and technical drawing.

The collection contains primary source materials relating to Alberta Everett (née Ross), her family, and the cultural heritage of the Eastern Townships from about the 1920s to 2017. It consists primarily of photographs, audiovisual recordings, and artefacts documenting events and celebrations around Eaton Township (Bulwer, Birchton, Bury), Lennoxville, and Hatley. It also consists of some textual records attesting to the personal lives of Alberta and her family. The collection is comprised of the following series: Family History ([ca. 1920s]- [ca. 1980]), Personal Life (1944-[ca. 1990]), and Townships History ([ca. 1930]-2017).

The collection contains source material on the personal life of Henrietta Kathleen Warren Milne, as well as her involvement with the Memphremagog Library, the Pinecroft retirement home, her further community involvement, and she and her family's finances. It also contains information regarding the historian Leonard Auger, Dr. Austin Bowen, and Henrietta Kathleen's family and friends, including some geneological information. It ranges from approximately 1700 to 2004 and covers mainly the Magog area with some coverage of the wider Eastern Townships. It consists mainly of correspondence, historical and constituent documents, minutes, notes, financial papers, clippings, and photographs. Collection presents a political timeline of the mayors of the Municipality of Barford from 1860 to 1991. It consists of name plaques with dates of mayoral terms from 1860 to 1900, name plaques and photographs from 1900 to 1991, as well as a list of the mayors.

Collection contains information on the families as well as the economic, social, and cultural history of Coaticook from the 1890s to 2001. It consists largely of newspaper clippings and photographs. The collection is composed of the following series: Families and individuals, education, businesses, churches and religion, theatre, Cercle de fermières de St-Edmond, Telmosse family, Oeuvre des Terrains de Jeux, politics, history, sports, maps, and unidentified photographs.
Collection contains photographs from around the 1950s. Among the identified photographs are a group of school children from St. Barthelémy in Ayer's Cliff and Marguerite Mongeau at the time of her communion. Among the unidentified photographs are a studio portrait from a double wedding and a theatre production.
Collection consists of unidentified portrait photographs by Coaticook photographers, possibly showing members of the Lavigueur family of St-Malo.
Collection presents information on St-Herménégilde from 1892 to 1950. It consists of visitor registers for the No. 9 school in the St-Herménégilde school board from 1892 to 1906; a handwritten history of the parish in St-Herménégilde on the occaison of its 75th anniversary in 1950; and newspaper clippings on Joseph Otis, Curé A. Tremblay, the marriage of M.A. Coulombe et Cora Tremblay, and rum baron Pierre St. Pierre. The school visitor registers are also a source informaton on the students attending the school, subjects taught, and schedules.
Collection illustrates some of the activities of Dr. Raoul Laurence during his time as mayor from 1950 to 1953. It consists of photographs including Raoul Laurence performing various mayoral duties, and includes, among others, a banquet hosted by the Emerald Guild of Coaticook, a retirement party for J.-W. Thériault, the launch of the Lions Club's White Cane campaign, and a special train tour by the Canadian National.
