The mortgages, promissory notes, and other financial documents testify to the importance of financial activities in his life. The inheritance documents provide a record of the management of his first wife's inheritance, his own, and that of his second wife, who died in 1895. The only information the fonds contains on his mayorship consists of a confirmation that he served as Mayor of Barnston.
