It consists of photographs from both Cleveland Sr. and Jr.’s time at war, Cleveland Sr.’s composite graduation photograph from McGill University, a diary belonging to Cleveland Jr. describing his everyday life in the Royal Flying Corps before he left for Europe and then when he was on active duty in Europe during World War I, certificates of appointments, discharge papers, correspondence, research notes and a certificate of appointment given to Nelson Cleveland, the first Mayor of Cleveland township. The fonds contains source material on the activities of Charles Stewart from 1815 to 1829, a time span that covers his work in England and Charleston (Hatley, Quebec), and for the SPG and part of his tenure as Bishop of the Diocese of Quebec. It consists of transcripts made by the Reverend James Reid, pastor of Trinity Church in Frelighsburg, in 1850 of ninety-one letters (ninety of which were written between 1815 and 1829) from Stewart to Reid. The transcripts bear comments made by the transcriber.

The fonds contains source material on Hiram Davis's activities as a businessman in the townships of Barnston and Hatley from 1850 to 1893. It also provides information on the management of his estate. By consulting the deeds for his properties, his insurance policies, his leases, and the receipts for his land-tax payments, researchers can get a good idea of the value of his holdings. The mortgages, promissory notes, and other financial documents testify to the importance of financial activities in his life. The inheritance documents provide a record of the management of his first wife's inheritance, his own, and that of his second wife, who died in 1895. The only information the fonds contains on his mayorship consists of a confirmation that he served as Mayor of Barnston.
