The fonds contains source material related to Terrill's interest in poetry. It consists of a manuscript anthology of poems, mainly from English and American literature. The title page shows that the anthology was Terrill's and that he began transcribing the poems in it on 2 May 1855. Besides the poems, the manuscript contains a transcription of an article published in the Stanstead Journal (4 November 1852) on the death of Terrill's father and includes subject and name indexes.

The fonds contains source material on Annie Fergusson's family history, her grandfather Captain Josiah Brown having settled in Windsor in 1805. The documents trace the history of property and financial transactions and lawsuits involving various members of the Brown family who lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and later Windsor. The time span covered is the late 17th century to the early 20th century. Most of the records, however, relate to Captain Josiah Brown. The fonds is also of some value as a source of information on the settlement of Windsor, Stoke, and Shipton; and on the Reverend James Fergusson, a minister in Richmond and Windsor in the late 19th century. The fonds consists mainly of sales agreements, correspondence, wills, accounting records, promissory notes, estate inventories, summonses, legal documents, lists of titles, and biographical and genealogical notes. It consists of a train ticket from Marieville to Drummondville and Canadian Pacific Railway travel brochures in Quebec featuring the Laurentian Mountain District, Fishing and Shooting and Transatlantic Services, and a scrapbook. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams. The collection contains mainly source material on the geography and landscapes of the Eastern Townships from Energy, Mines & Resources, Government of Canada, from 1933 to 1978. It covers the counties of Richmond, Sherbrooke, Compton, Frontenac, Shefford, Drummond, Brome, Stanstead, Missisquoi and Megantic. It also covers the areas of Thetford, Upton, Verchères, Richelieu, Montreal, Sorel, Joliette, Berthier, Ste. Marie, Quebec city, Portneuf, Lotbinière, Chateauguay and the county of Rouville. It also contains aerial photographs by Photograph Surveys Inc. carried out in 1956 and 1957, which are largely of industrial areas of Sherbrooke and, in particular, Ingersoll-Rand. Aerial photographs provide direct visual evidence of the landscape and a three dimensional view of the earth and its features that is not available from ground level. It consists of aerial photographs and maps.
