The fonds contains four account books of general merchants at Newfane, Vt., for the years 1754 to 1793 inclusive, twenty-five books kept by general merchants at Brome, Knowlton, Stukely, Stanbridge, Bolton and Shipton, for which in most cases the name of the merchant is not recorded but the years are from 1815 to 1890, with 1820-1825 and 1883-1884 missing, and one account book of Dr. Stephen Sewell Foster for the years 1846-1850, who settled at Frost village in 1821, one of the earliest physicians in the Eastern Townships.

Collection reflects the activities of the Drolet, Fortin, and Roy families primarily in the Coaticook area from about the 1890s to 1939. It consists of portrait photographs and snapshots. The fonds is primarily a source of information on the early life of Antoinette Drolet but also contains information on relatives of the Drolet family.
Drolet-Fortin familyCollection presents information on St-Herménégilde from 1892 to 1950. It consists of visitor registers for the No. 9 school in the St-Herménégilde school board from 1892 to 1906; a handwritten history of the parish in St-Herménégilde on the occaison of its 75th anniversary in 1950; and newspaper clippings on Joseph Otis, Curé A. Tremblay, the marriage of M.A. Coulombe et Cora Tremblay, and rum baron Pierre St. Pierre. The school visitor registers are also a source informaton on the students attending the school, subjects taught, and schedules.

Collection illustrates some of the organizations in Coaticook from around the 1950s. It consists of photographs showing an unidentified group at the Meadon baseball stadium, an initiation for the Knights of Columbus (Chevaliers de Colomb), and of the Amicale à Sacré-Coeur de Coaticook.
The collection contains primary and secondary source information on the creative life of Helen M. (née Webster) Emery, the community of Hatley (village), and organizations in the area from 1888 to 1959. It consists of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, largely pertaining to the Hatley village area, as well as original poetry by Helen M. Emery. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen M. Emery and continued by her daughter, Sadie (née Emery) Webster, following her death in 1923.
Emery, Helen M.The collection contains source material on travel in the Province of Quebec. It consists of a train ticket from Marieville to Drummondville and Canadian Pacific Railway travel brochures in Quebec featuring the Laurentian Mountain District, Fishing and Shooting and Transatlantic Services, and a scrapbook. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams. The collection is comprised of the following series: Train Ticket ([188-?]), Travel Brochures ([191-?] -[195-?]), and Scrapbook (1876-1901).
Collection contains photographs from around the 1950s. Among the identified photographs are a group of school children from St. Barthelémy in Ayer's Cliff and Marguerite Mongeau at the time of her communion. Among the unidentified photographs are a studio portrait from a double wedding and a theatre production.

It consists of photographs and postcard photographs of employees of Niedner Inc., including Bill Niedner, George Laming, Cora Allard, and Mrs. Hamilton; fires in Coaticook in 1922 and 1949; and the Hotel de Ville and Academy in Coaticook and the Half Way Hotel in Hereford.
Collection contains information on the social history of Coaticook from 1923 to 1937. It consists of photographs, including photos of the employees of D.S. Bachand, a parade float by the Cercle Lacordaire Association Anti-acoolique, the Caron et Fils hockey team, a few women's religious groups, the 50th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Couillard, and a photograph of Henri Carbonneau and Yvette D'Auteuil.
The collection contains mainly source material on the geography and landscapes of the Eastern Townships from Energy, Mines & Resources, Government of Canada, from 1933 to 1978. It covers the counties of Richmond, Sherbrooke, Compton, Frontenac, Shefford, Drummond, Brome, Stanstead, Missisquoi and Megantic. It also covers the areas of Thetford, Upton, Verchères, Richelieu, Montreal, Sorel, Joliette, Berthier, Ste. Marie, Quebec city, Portneuf, Lotbinière, Chateauguay and the county of Rouville. It also contains aerial photographs by Photograph Surveys Inc. carried out in 1956 and 1957, which are largely of industrial areas of Sherbrooke and, in particular, Ingersoll-Rand. Aerial photographs provide direct visual evidence of the landscape and a three dimensional view of the earth and its features that is not available from ground level. It consists of aerial photographs and maps.
