The fonds contains source material on the histories of Gould, Ste-Marguerite and Lingwick in 19th and 20th century. It consists of two interviews with Adélard Bouffard and Kenneth McIver conducted in 1978 and 1979 on the histories of Lingwick and its surrounding regions, including 4 CDs, 2 transcripts and 4 related photographs, and 7 documents of historical information on topics such as a merchant and builder in Lingwick and Ste-Marguerite in early 20th century, the arrival of the first francophone family in Lingwick in late 19th century, the establishment of Gould and Lingwick from 19th century to 20th century, the first Catholic mass and francophone school in early 20th century in Lingwick and the population of Lingwick from 1842 to 2001.
