It consists of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, largely pertaining to the Hatley village area, as well as original poetry by Helen M. Emery. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen M. Emery and continued by her daughter, Sadie (née Emery) Webster, following her death in 1923.

The collection contains source material on travel in the Province of Quebec. It consists of a train ticket from Marieville to Drummondville and Canadian Pacific Railway travel brochures in Quebec featuring the Laurentian Mountain District, Fishing and Shooting and Transatlantic Services, and a scrapbook. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams.
