The fonds contains primary source information on the education and social activities of the Goodin family in Canterbury and Bury from the 1870s to 1950. Among the correspondence are two wedding invitations: one for the marriage of Augusta Bennett and Samuel Lake, and another for Lizzie Clark. The identified authors of the correspondence are: John and Lucy Goodwin - George's brother and sister-in-law, Allen Snelling, Robert Clark, and Janet Rowe.
