The fonds contains primary source material on the activities of the Coalition of Conservationists of the Eastern Townships between 1978 and 1991. It consists of administrational documents pertaining the creation and the dissolution of the Coalition, as well as agendas and minutes that convey the board's meetings. There are also documents sent to members, reports on the Coalition's activities, financial documents and public relations documents. The latter documents are maps and informational documents about the Coalition's environmental projects and endeavors. The fonds also contains correspondence between the Coalition, members and the Québec Government., as well as a stamp of the logo of the Coalition.

The fonds consists of the following series: Administration (1979, 1991), Members (1979, 1984), Reports (1991), Financial Documents (1979, 1982) and Public Relations (1978-1979).

The fonds contains primary source material pertaining to Matrix magazine (published in Lennoxville, QC from 1974 to 1988). The material in the fonds spans from 1913 to 1921, and from 1974 to 1995. It consists of correspondence, largely with Matrix editor Philip Lanthier, regarding the administration and content of the magazine. The fonds also consists of prints of work submitted to the magazine, 53 photographs (including 12 35mm negatives) from The Seventh Moon poetry readings, featuring Irving Layton, Lucien Francoeur, and Ralph Gustafson, as well as 55 miscellaneous photographs (including 18 35mm negatives). Other items found in the fonds include an award certificate for Joyce Marshall in Matrix (1984), transparencies of artworks, sketches for the magazine, a Seventh Moon Poetry Reading poster, and press clippings. The collection contains source material on travel in the Province of Quebec. It consists of a train ticket from Marieville to Drummondville and Canadian Pacific Railway travel brochures in Quebec featuring the Laurentian Mountain District, Fishing and Shooting and Transatlantic Services, and a scrapbook. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams. The collection is comprised of the following series: Train Ticket ([188-?]), Travel Brochures ([191-?] -[195-?]), and Scrapbook (1876-1901).
