It also contains aerial photographs by Photograph Surveys Inc. carried out in 1956 and 1957, which are largely of industrial areas of Sherbrooke and, in particular, Ingersoll-Rand. Aerial photographs provide direct visual evidence of the landscape and a three dimensional view of the earth and its features that is not available from ground level. It consists of aerial photographs and maps.
