The item is a postcard of the Baptist Church on Portland Street in Sherbrooke from around the 1910s.
Pictured here is a group on a horse sleigh during winter. The caption reads, " On Danville Road between A of D Ry Crossing and Lyman Neomill's. Geo Smith's house - Gregory Jones House & barn."
The verso reads: " Returning from Asbestos to Danville just beyond the A&D Ry. Crossing.
The white house in this view was owned by Mr George Smith - father of Robert Smith who set up the hoist at the #1 shaft and who in all likelihood took this picture.
The smaller house (unpainted) was owned by Mr. Gregory Jones. Who for many years was a compressor operator."
This file contains a booklet produced by the Canadian Correspondence College Limited called "The Key to Ontario School Bookkeeping."
The item is one coloured photograph of a rural view of East Clifton.
