(née Webster) Emery, the community of Hatley (village), and organizations in the area from 1888 to 1959. It consists of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, largely pertaining to the Hatley village area, as well as original poetry by Helen M. Emery. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen M. Emery and continued by her daughter, Sadie (née Emery) Webster, following her death in 1923.

It consists mainly of Sherbrooke and surrounding regions telephone directories, business pamphlets, Bishop's College School yearbooks, club information, Sherbrooke Newspaper, maps of the Eastern Townships, and booklets from the Sherbrooke Winter Fair. Included among the material is a copy of "The Echenbergs of Ostropol and Sherbrooke: a tale of two shetls" by Myron Echenberg and Ruth Tannenbaum (1986) and two prints published that represents the Counties of the Eastern Townships. The fonds consists of the following series: Personal Documents (1854-1986), Edwin Echenberg (1915-2001,) Business Ephemera (1863-[197-?],) Newspapers (1886-1957, [198-?]), Bishop's College School Yearbooks (1925-1929), Phone Directories (1922-1952,) and Miscellaneous (1893-2000).

The collection contains source material on travel in the Province of Quebec. It consists of a train ticket from Marieville to Drummondville and Canadian Pacific Railway travel brochures in Quebec featuring the Laurentian Mountain District, Fishing and Shooting and Transatlantic Services, and a scrapbook. The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams. The collection is comprised of the following series: Train Ticket ([188-?]), Travel Brochures ([191-?] -[195-?]), and Scrapbook (1876-1901).

Tremblay, le mariage de M. A. Coulombe et de Cora Tremblay, ainsi que du baron de la contrebande du rhum Pierre St-Pierre. Les registres des visiteur de l'école sont aussi une source d'information sur les étudiants qui fréquentait l'école, les sujets enseignés et les horaires.

Account Books collection

The fonds contains four account books of general merchants at Newfane, Vt., for the years 1754 to 1793 inclusive, twenty-five books kept by general merchants at Brome, Knowlton, Stukely, Stanbridge, Bolton and Shipton, for which in most cases the name of the merchant is not recorded but the years are from 1815 to 1890, with 1820-1825 and 1883-1884 missing, and one account book of Dr. Stephen Sewell Foster for the years 1846-1850, who settled at Frost village in 1821, one of the earliest physicians in the Eastern Townships.
