The file contains photographs of members of the Desruisseau/Labonte/Leonard family, as well as many unidentified photographs, possibly taken between 1870 and 1940. It consists of a photo album comprised of 56 studio photographs, a photo scrapbook comprised of 230 photographs, and 37 other photographs.

The file contains information on various boats, largely on the Richelieu River, from around the 1870s to the 1910s. Included among the boats pictured are the Island Queen, the Ojibway, the Missisquoi, a schooner captained by W. Montgomery, the Daisy, an unidentified barge, the Windsor, and the Majestic. Also pictured is the Richelieu Bridge and possibly St. Johns wharf.

The file contains topographic maps, consists of the following sheets: Orford (1956), Memphremagog (1954), Richmond (1954), Sherbrooke (1954), Coaticook (1952), Scotstown (1952).
