The file contains primary source information on the Sand Hill area in 1970 and around 1996. It consists of one history of the Sand Hill Cemetery prepared by Waymer S. Laberee in 1970. It also consists of correspondence from the Reverend Canon Robert S. Jervis-Read to Mr. Martin regarding the state of St. Luke's Church at Sand Hill, appended to which is the working list of Megantic-Compton parishes sent out by the Megantic-Compton Cemetery and Church Association in seeking additional information, as well as a copy of the M-CCCA map with more information on churches and cemeteries. Finally the file consists of two photocopied press clippings from the Journal Haut-Saint-François discussing the termination of St. Luke's Church.

It consists of one brief history entitled "Early Presbyterian Churches in the Scottish Settlements of the Eastern Townships of Quebec," and also contains information on Winslow, Hampden/Milan, Marsboro, Lake Megantic, and Scotstown. It also consists of a map indicating these areas, as well as a brief acknowledgement text which would have accompanied a monument erected by the Presbytery of Quebec in honour of Scottish pioneers. The text may have accompanied the monument erected in Gould in 1999 with the assistance of the Megantic-Compton Cemetery and Church Association.

The file contains primary source information on the Megantic area in 1968, and from 1995 to 1996. It consists of one copy of an article from La Tribune (February 20, 1968) entitled "The Forgotten Cemeteries," which provides information on the cemeteries in the area (Boyle, Braddock, Paxton, Gisla, Dell, Scotstown, Stornoway, Echo Vale, Mount Pleasant, Lake MacKenzie, etc.). It also consists of one copy of Isabell MacArthur Beattie's text "Donald Morrison Trail..." with appended drawings and map, as well as one note from Mrs. Muriel Mayhew providing information on the churches in the area, with an appended copy of the M-CCCA map indicating the Knox Presbyterian Church.

The file contains primary source information on the Boyle Cemetery in the Spider Lake area from the 1990s. It consists of a copy ([199-?]) of the minutes of a meeting of the Cemetery Action Committee held on May 23rd, 1968 listing cemeteries in the area (Boyle, Brown, Braddock, McIver, Gisla, Dell, Tolsta, Marsboro Mills, Echo Vale, Sand Hill, Stornoway, Riverview, Gould-Lingwick, Keith, Victoria, Ditchfield, Prescott, and Dudswell). It also consists of a handwritten note with directions to Boyle, Brown, Braddock, and Fletcher cemeteries and contacts related to these cemeteries. Finally, it consists of a fax from Allen Martin to the Office of Madelaine Belanger requesting that the Boyle, Brown, and Braddock cemeteries be marked on the map, along with the corresponding map with the cemeteries indicated.
