The item is a letter from Harry Grundy (lawyer) to E.A. Gould regarding the feasibility and need for a foundation for the Sherbrooke Hospital, dated 2 October 1972.
The series contains information on the activities of the Sherbrooke Hospital Foundation from around the 1950s to 2008. It consists of photographs of nurse Isabelle Marshall, Charles F. Smith Jr., the inauguration of a swing and electric beds made possible by a donation by the Foundation, and from awards evenings.

The fonds contains source material on the activities, administration and financial resources as well was the history of the Sherbrooke Hospital Foundation and of the Sherbrooke (Protestant) Hospital in Sherbrooke from 1914 to 2012. It consists largely of minutes, financial reports, newspaper clippings, publicity, donations, grants, correspondence, and histories. The fonds is comprised of the following series: Administration (1914-2012), Financial Resources (1919-2011), and Photographs ([195-?]-2008).
