Scope and content
The file consists of one scrapbook pertaining to Ellis Parker Esq. of Barnston and covering the years 1890 to 1941. Clippings are pasted into an "Old Sessional Papers" book. It also contains writings by Parker Ellis (such as poems), and an extract of a letter dated 14 March 1935, from the House of Commons of Canada, which provides a review of the achievements and policies of the government from 1930 to 1935. The file provides information mainly on religious matters, and contains death notices and obituaries; but it also contains information on people such as Churchill and the Royal Family of England.
