    Biographical history

    Ellen Eliza Alton was born in 1836. She married Ebenezer Ferrin (1832-1867) and together, they had the following children: James Otis Ferrin (1851-1930), Carrie E. Ferrin (1860-1949), Orrin or Ora Alton Ferrin (1864-1943) and Ebenezer Ervin Ferrin (1867-1872).

    The subseries contains primary source information about Ellen Alton Ferrin from about 1900 to 1927 in Vermont. It consists of one postcard, one greeting card, and three letters written by Ellen, addressed to Lill Ferrin Baldwin and Harold Ferrin Baldwin.
