Biographical history

Dunham United Church, initially of Methodist denomination, started as a circuit in 1806 including, from 1812 to 1818, Farnham, North and South Stukely, and Brome. In 1925, when the United Church of Canada was founded, amalgamating Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational Churches, the Dunham Methodist Church decided to join the Union. It was then renamed Dunham United Church. Dunham United Church is under the jurisdiction of the Quebec and Sherbrooke Presbytery of the Montreal and Ottawa Conference of the United Church of Canada.
