    The file consists of photocopies of the following documents: By-laws of the Villa Association of Cape Gibraltar (Lake Memphremagog) adopted at the general meeting of 21 August 1874; a newspaper article The village that once was by Jacques Boisvert, published by The Record on 30 June 1983; two plans: Plan de la propriété du Cap Gibraltar située au lac Memphremagog, sur les 11ème et 12ème rangs du township de Bolton. Montréal, 22 mars 1875 and a street plan prepared by Dom Jean Rochon at the Abbaye Saint-Benoît-du-Lac dated 1975; and one photograph of a house. The file provides information on the history of Cape Gibraltar Village from its construction till its decline and also on the organisation and management of the Villa Association of Cape Gibraltar.
