Biographical history
The 1st Windsor Group was organized in 1929, it succeeded a Windsor group from 1915 to 1927. At its foundation, the 1st Windsor Group was part of the Eastern Townships District; it was later integrated to the St. Francis Valley District. The 1st Windsor Group was under the responsibility of a Group Committee formed of 5 or more adults, plus the Scouter of the Group. The Group ceased its activities in 1970 and transferred its bank balance to the District in 1973.

The fonds contains source material on the administration and the activities of the 1st Windsor Group from 1929 to 1973. It consists mainly of minutes, annual reports, correspondence, financial reports and registration forms. The fonds is comprised of the following series: Administration (1929-1973), Financial Resources (1960-1965), Membership (1962-1973), Photographs ([194?]-1980), St. Francis Valley District (1961-1965), and Miscellaneous Documents (1964-1980).
