    Biographical history

    Annie Julia Derick was born on 21 January 1886 in Clarenceville to Asahel H. Derick and Charlotte M. Smith. She married Alex Mason in New Brunswick, where she lived for the rest of her life until her death on 1 October 1974.

    Scope and content

    The sub-series contains primary source information on the life of Annie J. Derick from about 1900 to 1908. It consists of an address book, a handwritten book of poems, a letter from an astrologer with a reading, a letter to Annie from her mother, Charlotte, as well as a list of family items recorded in 1975. The sub-series also includes an embroidered purse that once belonged to Annie Derick.
